This plan represents over four years of work and study conducted by the Cape Care Coalition, a group of Cape residents, medical professionals and public officials. The goal of this document is to present a model of how a single-payer healthcare system for the residents of Barnstable County might function. As this is a "living document", we encourage residents of the Cape to comment and suggest ways in which it can be improved. We welcome involvement, feedback, suggestions and questions.
